The January Blues

Feb 03, 2015

January seems to have rolled away very quickly and it’s February already! This is good news, a lot of the students in my class have been feeling the cold of the winter months and it’s making them miss their home countries, London can sometimes be grey in the winter. Now that February is here, it’s only one more month until we start to see some signs of Spring and a bit more colour around us. We have a phrase for the sad feeling that people experience in January – it’s called ‘the January Blues’, sometimes we describe people as blue when they are feeling sad. So now hopefully the January Blues are gone and we can look forward to Spring coming!
